Second Annual Academy A Success!

The Second Annual Education and Training Academy, "Dimensions of Dementia" was held at Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale campus on June 3-4.

320 family and professional caregivers attended the area's most comprehensive dementia training and education program. Both the Northern Virginia and Greater Washington chapters organized the two-day conference and received financial assistance from The George Washington University Hospital Center and LifeDesign.

The conference would not have been a success without the help of committee members from both chapters. Also, special thanks go out to the volunteers who helped with registration, book sales and various other tasks.
