New Board Members

Judith S. Miller, CMP, an active Chapter member since 1994, joined the Chapter's board of directors in December 1998. Miller is the deputy executive director with the American Academy of Audiology in McLean, Virginia. Miller not only is the current chairperson of the Chapter's Public Policy committee, but has nine years of caregiving knowledge and experience. When asked about her role as a board member, Miller replied that she wants to give back as much as she can to the Chapter that helped her tremendously while caring for her mother.

Rim Mghir, M.D. joined the Chapter's board of directors in December 1998. Dr. Mghir is a geriatric and adult psychiatrist with the Psychiatric Associates of Greater Washington in Falls Church, Virginia. Originally from Aleppo, Syria, Mghir came to the United States in 1984 to pursue greater educational opportunities and fell in love with the Washington metro area.
