Alzheimer's Information Forums (AIFs) are scheduled throughout the year at diverse locations across the Chapter service area. These free forums, usually 90 minutes in duration, focus on a myriad of topics and issues important to diagnosed individuals and to family caregivers. The basic forum "Alzheimer's Disease: Caring, Coping and Understanding," presents general information about dementia, treatments, and community resources. Targeted at families coping with the with the early stages of Alzheimer's, this forum is offered several times a year. Other AIF topics range from advocacy, legal/financial issues and research to terminal care and grief.
