Advocacy Day:"Let Your Voice Serve as a Voice for Others" in Richmond, Virginia January, 2000 Learn the issues, meet fellow advocates, and teach the members of Virginia�s General Assembly about what matters most to people with Alzheimer�s disease and their families. For further information about our legislative agenda, please read the 1999 Platform of the eight Virginia Chapters of the Alzheimer's Association. Register or get more information by calling the Alzheimer�s Association, Northern Virginia Chapter at 703/359-4440, extension 108 or send an e-mail to the Director of Public Policy with the subject line "Advocacy Day." The Northern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer�s Association sponsors Advocacy Day as an opportunity for citizens concerned about Alzheimer�s to travel to Richmond and communicate directly with their elected representatives in the Virginia General Assembly on behalf of policies which would enhance the long-term health, legal and financial security of people with Alzheimer�s disease and their families.
