Virginia Action Alerts

Please telephone the Virginia General Assembly's Constituent Viewpoint operators at (800) 889-0229 and ask them to give the following message to your state Senator and Delegate (the operator determines which Senator and Delegate based on your addrress): "Please vote in favor of the following budget amendments" and then list the following amendments by Item Number:

  • Item 295 #2h and Item 295 #2s (This would supply $215,000 for the Alzheimers' Association Faith Community Partnership, a program that would educate and assist the faith community in serving persons with Alzheimers' Disease.)
  • Item 295 #5h and Item 295 #4s (This would supply $250,000 for expanding the Alzheimer's Association professional Helpline Counseling and Referral service statewide.)
  • Item 461 #2h and Item 461 #1s (This would supply $100,000 for expanding the Alzheimer's Association Safe Return Program for people with memory disorders who wander away from home or a care setting.)
